NATIONAL: DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION

Among Democratic primary voters nationwide

Joe Biden: 54%
Bernie Sanders: 38%
Tulsi Gabbard: 2%

RON’S COMMENT: This is the first national poll of Democratic primary voters since Warren withdraw and it shows Biden with a substantial lead over Sanders. Also:

  • Biden has the momentum: A poll taken three days before this one, when Bloomberg and Warren were still in the mix, had Biden leading Sanders by 8 points. Now, it’s 16 points.
  • Age divide: 70% of voters 45 and older support Biden, while 57% of those under 45 favor Sanders.

  • Missouri––68 delegates
  • Mississippi––36 delegates
